"The State Logistics Operator has tightened requirements for the quality of meat, dairy products and sausages to be supplied to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This is reported by the press service of the DOT, UNN writes.
It is noted that the State Logistics Operator analyzed the technical requirements for three categories of goods and proposed changes that would significantly improve the quality of food.
"Dairy products (Cheese, Sour cream, Butter) - an indicator of the absence of vegetable fat has been added, which makes it impossible to supply substitute products.
Meat (Fresh, Frozen) - clear packaging requirements have been established to ensure sanitary standards.
Meat and sausage products - information on the composition of raw materials in accordance with the State Standard of Ukraine has been added," the DOT reported.
They added that the relevant changes have already been approved by the Armed Forces and included in the updated technical requirements.
Currently, the DOT is preparing draft amendments to the technical requirements for the Vegetables/Fruits and Canned Foods group.
