Denmark has announced a new 25th military aid package to Ukraine worth DKK 6.7 billion (over USD 970 million). This was announced by Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, reports UNN.
Details
According to him, this package will significantly strengthen Ukraine's defense capabilities in key areas:
- air defense;
- artillery and ammunition;
- support for the air force.
Umerov also noted that there will be separate contributions to "important multinational initiatives":
- drone coalition;
- IT coalition.
In addition, according to Umerov, additional support for the Ukrainian defense industry is provided.
Denmark continues to demonstrate leadership in implementing an effective approach known as the "Danish model" - direct financing of production in Ukraine. This not only strengthens defense capabilities, but also supports the Ukrainian economy
He sincerely thanked "the people of Denmark and Minister of Defense Troels Lund Poulsen for their strong, principled support of Ukraine."
