The Office of the Prosecutor General has launched a pre-trial investigation into a criminal proceeding over the violation of the laws and customs of war over the killing of a 4-year-old boy and his father, as well as three wounded, by Russia. This was reported by the Prosecutor General's Office, UNN reports.
"A 4-year-old boy and his father were killed, 3 more people, including a child, were injured as a result of a night attack by Russian Federation in Kyiv region - an investigation has been launched," the Prosecutor General's Office writes.
Under the procedural supervision of the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation was initiated in the criminal proceedings on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, on August 11, the Russian armed forces launched an air attack on Kyiv region.
In Brovary district, a 4-year-old child and his father were killed in the attack. Three other people, including a 12-year-old boy, sustained various injuries and were hospitalized.
Residential buildings, outbuildings and vehicles were damaged.
