In Vinnytsia, during a conflict, a man stabbed a woman and then committed suicide; criminal proceedings have been initiated, reports UNN with reference to the Vinnytsia Oblast Police.

According to preliminary information, today, June 10, a personal conflict arose between a man and a woman at a local market, during which he stabbed his acquaintance. The 51-year-old victim died from her injuries. Following this, the 53-year-old man inflicted fatal injuries upon himself with the same knife.
The murder weapon has been seized. The bodies will be sent for forensic medical examination.
All circumstances of the incident will be established by investigators during the inquiry. Criminal proceedings have been opened under Art. 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (intentional homicide and intentional homicide marked as "suicide"). Initial investigative actions are ongoing.
