"Ukrzaliznytsia" services suffered a massive cyberattack, as a result of which it is not possible to purchase tickets online. In order to continue effective passenger service, the carrier company has strengthened changes in railway ticket offices at stations, writes UNN with reference to the "Ukrzaliznytsia" page on Telegram.
In particular, the number of open ticket offices in Kyiv has been doubled. This made it possible to continue serving customers without making them wait long.
"Station staff constantly monitor queues. Currently, they are no larger than for morning coffee, the waiting time is about 15 minutes," the message says.
The company also advised everyone who wants to buy tickets today to contact the ticket office during lunchtime.

The attack was very systematic, non-trivial and multi-level. In this regard, before full recovery, specialists of UZ and the cyber department of the SBU must carefully test the services for possible vulnerabilities.
Online ticket sales remain unavailable. During this day, Ukrzaliznytsia is preparing to work offline.
