The National Bank of Ukraine has set the official hryvnia exchange rate at 41.0063 UAH/USD, which strengthened the hryvnia by 2 kopecks, UNN reports citing NBU data.

The official dollar exchange rate is 41.00 UAH/USD. The NBU has also set the official exchange rate of the euro to the hryvnia at 44.40 UAH/€.
According to the data on specialized websites, as of 9:15 am:
- The dollar can be bought for UAH 41.35 and sold for UAH 40.90 in banks. The euro can be bought at UAH 44.85 and sold at UAH 44.30 in banks.
- In exchange offices, the dollar is traded at UAH 41.30-41.45, and the euro at UAH 44.75-45.00.
- On the interbank market, the exchange rates are 40.09-40.12 UAH/USD for the dollar and 44.56-44.57 UAH/€ for the euro, respectively.

Counterfeit money has recently increased in Ukraine . According to the NBU, in the first half of 2024, there were 3.4 counterfeits per million genuine banknotes. Compared to last year, the increase in counterfeits reached 62%.
