In Pesochyn, Kharkiv region, law enforcement officers exposed a corruption scheme for issuing tractor driver's licenses. According to investigators, the management of the training center for the agricultural sector, in addition to the official tuition fee, demanded bribes from students for a "successful" test and the issuance of a document. The director of the educational institution is under suspicion - the court has already sent him to custody. According to the investigation, the deputy director, methodologists, and the head of academic work may also be involved in the fraud.
In addition, law enforcement officers are also checking the alleged recipients of the IDs for bribes.
According to investigators, bribes were demanded from anyone who wanted to learn how to drive agricultural machinery and obtain a certificate. One of the victims told law enforcement officers that in addition to UAH 1800 of official payments, he was told the amount of UAH 3000. It was supposed to be a so-called "fee" for a "successful" test. He also added that it was not necessary to attend classes, because the document was issued for money, not knowledge.
Bolvinov also noted, citing a witness, that the following categories of IDs cost more at the center - from five thousand hryvnias.
The investigation of this case is ongoing. Law enforcers are preparing new suspicions for the rest of the defendants.
