Cold air from the north will cause a cold snap in Ukraine with night frosts, rains and wet snow in places, the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center reported the weather forecast for April 24, writes UNN.
A new portion of cold air will spread from northern Europe to the territory of Ukraine. Therefore, frosts are expected at night on the soil surface, in most northern, Cherkasy, Poltava and Kharkiv regions - in the air, the daytime temperature will also drop slightly, especially in the northeast. In the zone of influence of the atmospheric front in the east, southeast of the country and Sumy region, light rains are expected, sometimes with wet snow at night, in the rest of the territory there will be no precipitation in the low pressure field. In the afternoon, the wind will intensify in the Carpathian and eastern regions

According to the forecast, today in Ukraine it will be cloudy with clearings. In the east, at night and in the southeast of the country and Sumy region, light rain, sometimes with wet snow, no precipitation in the rest of the territory.
The wind is north-westerly, 7-12 m/s, in the afternoon in Prykarpattia, in the eastern, Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions, gusts of 15-20 m/s.
The temperature at night is 1-6°C, on the soil surface, in most northern, central and Kharkiv regions, the air temperature is 0-3°C; during the day it is 7-12°C, in the northeast and east of the country it is 4-9°C.
