The European Commission hopes that political changes in Hungary will allow the negotiation process for Ukraine's accession to the European Union to be unblocked in the near future. This was stated by European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos during a conversation with journalists on the sidelines of the Ukraine-EU Business Summit, UNN reports.

According to Kos, Brussels expects to be able to officially open all negotiation clusters.
We hope that with the change of government in Hungary, we will soon be able to formally open all clusters. The European Commission is ready for this, my team is ready, and we expect quick decisions from the member states and the EU Council.
Kos emphasized that Ukraine's progress towards EU membership is directly linked to the pace of reforms.
A candidate country must implement reforms. This is how legal certainty and an environment in which investors come are formed.
