Great Britain and France will hold a new summit of military planners to prepare for the resumption of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz. This was reported by Bloomberg, writes UNN.

Representatives from more than 30 countries will take part in the two-day conference in northern London. They will discuss military scenarios for opening the strait after a stable ceasefire is reached.
The British Foreign Ministry noted that the goal of the meeting is "to advance military plans for reopening the strait as soon as conditions allow."

The initiative is coordinated by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and French President Emmanuel Macron. Last week, they already held a summit in Paris, where they emphasized that the future plan would be "purely defensive."

London and Paris reject the idea of a forceful opening of the strait, which was previously voiced by US President Donald Trump.
