The American aerospace company Blue Origin has tested and successfully launched the seven main engines of its largest rocket, New Glenn, writes UNN referring to Arstechnica.

The test launch was the last important step in the company's campaign to prepare for the launch of the New Glenn - a super-heavy launch vehicle of private development. Blue Origin reported that the rocket's engines operated for 24 seconds, with 13 seconds of full-power operation.
"This is a huge milestone and a glimpse of what's to come - the first launch of New Glenn," said Jarrett Jones, senior vice president of the New Glenn program, in his press release. "Today's success proves that our rigorous testing approach combined with incredible engineering and design is working as planned."
The completion of the dynamic test becomes a historic moment for the company founded by Jeff Bezos almost a quarter of a century ago.
The Blue Origin report on the test results did not specify the launch date of New Glenn, but according to information in the flight recommendations, it is likely to occur no earlier than January 6.
Reminder
The Vega C launch vehicle successfully placed the Sentinel-1C satellite into an orbit of 700 km after a two-year upgrade. The launch took place from the Kourou Spaceport in French Guiana after the installation of a new French nozzle.
