According to SHOT, there is currently no electricity in the entire coastal region due to an accident on the Primorskaya GRES-Khekhtsir-2 line. The system operator is currently engaged in restoration work.
As noted, more than 1.8 million people are currently without electricity in Primorye.
"They cut the power in the whole town. The refrigerator doesn't work, no one has electricity," locals say.
As reported, there is no power in Vladivostok hospitals. As SHOT was informed by the Far Eastern District Medical Center, it is now dark there. Doctors are hastily checking whether the equipment is working and the condition of the backup generators.
People are reported to be getting out of stalled trains and manually raising barriers on the tracks.
