Squally winds and thunderstorms in Kyiv region have damaged the roofs of residential buildings and caused power outages. The consequences of the bad weather were shown by the head of the Kyiv regional military administration Ruslan Kravchenko, UNN reports.
In the Kyiv region, a number of cases of roofs collapsing and trees falling were reported in 5 districts as a result of the weather. In particular, in Bucha, Bila Tserkva, Vyshhorod, Obukhiv and Boryspil districts.

According to Kravchenko, as of 20:00, there were no reports of casualties due to the deteriorating weather conditions.
However, almost 30 reports of damage were recorded. These include the destruction of roofs in private homes and social institutions, garages, and one of the enterprises.
Falling trees and fences have damaged power lines, cars, and roads.
According to power engineers, the bad weather caused accidents in the networks. 42 10 kV lines were disconnected. Bila Tserkva, Boryspil, Bucha, Fastiv and Obukhiv districts were affected by the disaster. The consequences of the bad weather are being promptly eliminated.
All operational services are working in an enhanced mode. People are provided with all the necessary assistance.

The State Emergency Service has warnedthat tomorrow, April 3, in Kyiv and Kyiv region, wind gusts may reach 15-20 m/s during the day. This is the first level of danger.
