The High Anti-Corruption Court has released one of the defendants in the case of bribery of the head of the Sumy City Military Administration on bail of UAH 1.9 million. This was reported by UNN with reference to the SAPO.
Details
We are talking about Volodymyr Potseluyev, the head physician of a local medical institution.
On March 29, 2024, the HACC investigating judge imposed a measure of restraint in the form of UAH 1.9 million bail on a deputy of the Sumy Regional Council, who also holds the position of chief physician of a local hospital, who was caught together with another local deputy offering and providing USD 100 thousand in undue advantage to the head of the Sumy City Military Administration
At the same time, the agency emphasizes that the prosecutor insisted on applying a preventive measure to the suspect in the form of detention with the possibility of posting UAH 7 million bail. The SAPO did not agree with the judges' decision, and therefore will appeal it
