The crew of NASA's Artemis II mission highly praised the Orion capsule, built by Lockheed Martin, after a successful flight around the Moon. This was reported by Bloomberg, writes UNN.

Mission commander Reid Wiseman stated that the spacecraft performed stably during the flight.
"This vehicle really handled very well," he noted.
Technical incidents
During the mission, there were some technical difficulties, including problems with the waste disposal system and an unexpected activation of the smoke detector.

Despite this, the crew emphasized that overall the capsule performed properly.
The mission lasted 10 days and was the first crewed journey around the Moon in over 50 years.
The crew included NASA astronauts Victor Glover and Christina Koch, as well as Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen.
NASA states that Artemis II is just the beginning of a new program for lunar exploration.
The agency plans to land people on the surface of the satellite in 2028 and eventually establish a permanent base there for astronauts to work.
