The National Agency for Identification, Tracing and Management of Assets (ARMA) has recorded the illegal use of an arrested asset in Kyiv — "unauthorized persons" were found in the Kyiv house of former fugitive minister Vitaliy Zakharchenko, who is hiding in Russia, ARMA reported on Friday, writes UNN.
ARMA recorded the fact of illegal use of arrested property — a residential building in the center of Kyiv, known as Zakharchenko's house. This refers to one of the assets of former Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Vitaliy Zakharchenko, who is hiding in Russia. On April 1, 2026, during an inspection, it was established that unauthorized persons were in the house, using it on the basis of a so-called sublease agreement.
The agency emphasized: "The specified 'agreement' has no legal force, as the property is under arrest and transferred to ARMA's management with a prohibition on use by third parties."
"This is a deliberate violation of a court decision and illegal use of an arrested asset," the statement said.
ARMA, as indicated, "informed law enforcement agencies and initiated the entry of information into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations."
"The agency emphasizes: any attempts to illegally use arrested assets will be stopped, and those involved will be brought to justice," the statement said.
