Ukraine has launched a new high-rate well, which is expected to produce 150 thousand cubic meters of gas per day, Naftogaz Group said on Monday, UNN reports.

"Naftogaz Group has commissioned a new exploration well with a daily flow rate of 150 thousand cubic meters of gas. The depth of the well is 5400 meters," the company said.
Construction of a site for the next exploration well has now begun at the field, as indicated.

According to Naftogaz, Ukrgasvydobuvannya and Ukrnafta produced more than 13.5 bcm of gas in 11 months of 2024.
