Rescuers have extinguished fires at two locations in the Chernobyl zone and continue to eliminate the fire at an already localized source of ignition. This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, writes UNN.
Work is concentrated on one source of ignition, which was successfully localized, preventing the fire from spreading to a larger area
Two more fire sources have already been completely extinguished. The situation remains under control, and radiation background levels are within normal limits.
