Amid a large number of drones launched by the Russian Federation, the air raid alert has spread to the western regions. In the Khmelnytskyi region, two people are known to have been injured due to the Russian attack, reported the head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration Serhiy Tyurin on social media on Wednesday, UNN reports.

"Enemy drones are attacking the Khmelnytskyi region. The Air Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are operating. As of now, two people are known to be injured. Take care of yourselves. Stay in shelters," Tyurin wrote.
The head of the Ternopil Regional Military Administration Taras Pastukh warned: "Attention to the residents of the Ternopil region! A massive enemy attack on Ukraine is taking place right now. Numerous groups of UAVs have been detected in the sky, moving in a westerly direction. I ask everyone! As soon as you hear the 'Air Raid' signal - immediately head to a shelter! Take care of yourselves and your loved ones!".
"An enemy UAV has been detected over Bukovyna," reported the head of the Chernivtsi Regional Military Administration Ruslan Osypenko.
Air raid alerts have also been announced in the Rivne and Ivano-Frankivsk regions, among other regions.
In Kyiv, air defense was also active against enemy drones, reported Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
