The UES noted that emergency outage schedules were introduced to stabilize the power system, which was damaged as a result of a massive enemy missile attack. As of 8 a.m., 720 settlements and more than 213 thousand subscribers in Sumy region were cut off from power supply.
A large-scale Russian attack on the night of March 22 damaged dozens of facilities in Ukraine's energy system. Emergency blackouts were introduced in Sumy and 6 other regions.
