Starting July 29, Ukraine begins publishing the ranking lists of applicants recommended for enrollment to institutions of professional pre-higher education. This is stated in the official announcement of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, reports UNN.
Details
Thus, one of the most crucial stages of the admission campaign to institutions of professional pre-higher education begins in Ukraine — the publication of ranking lists of applicants recommended for enrollment. Applicants vying for state or regional budget-funded study will start receiving the first notifications in their electronic offices.
Schedule for publishing ranking lists
The timing of publishing lists of recommended persons depends on the educational background on which admission is based.
Applicants entering on the basis of 9th grade (basic secondary education — BSE) will be able to learn about receiving a recommendation for enrollment between July 29 and July 31.
And yesterday's students entering on the basis of 11th grade (full general secondary education — FGSE) and other educational levels will find their names in the lists between August 8 and August 17.
Note that all decisions on recommendations are reflected in the Unified State Electronic Database on Education (USEDE). In addition to personal notifications in applicants' electronic offices, the ranking lists can be viewed directly on the notice boards or official websites of the chosen colleges.
How to confirm the choice of the place of study
Receiving a recommendation in the electronic office is only the first step. To be enrolled in state or regional budget places, an applicant must necessarily confirm the choice of one place of study.
Methods of confirmation:
- online: directly in the applicant's electronic office;
- in person: by submitting the necessary documents directly to the college admissions committee;
- remotely: by means of electronic communication with mandatory application of a qualified electronic signature (QES).
Final deadlines for confirming the choice
For ninth-graders, the deadline to fulfill enrollment requirements is set until 12:00 PM on August 4, and for applicants after 11th grade and other educational levels — until 6:00 PM on August 14. If the young men and women do not confirm their choice within the specified deadlines, they will lose the right to enrollment under the relevant competitive offer.
Enrollment schedule for colleges
The direct enrollment of ninth-graders for budget places will occur no later than 6:00 PM on August 7, and for contract forms — until August 11, with the possibility of transfer to vacant budget places until August 17.
For applicants based on 11th grade and other educational levels, enrollment under state or regional orders will take place until 6:00 PM on August 19, and for contract places — until 12:00 PM on August 30.
The transfer of this category to vacant budget places will also be completed by August 30, and additional enrollment for contract places for all applicants, if necessary, will continue until October 15.
If a budget place unexpectedly becomes vacant due to refusal or non-confirmation by the initially recommended persons, they will be redistributed among applicants according to the ranking order.
For applicants after 9th grade, updated lists will appear by 8:00 PM on August 4, and the place will need to be confirmed after that by 6:00 PM on August 6.
For applicants after 11th grade, the list update will occur by 12:00 PM on August 17, with the final deadline for confirming the choice by 6:00 PM on August 18.
Reminder
As of July 28, applicants have submitted 805,822 applications for bachelor's and medical master's programs. The most popular universities were Lviv Polytechnic and Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.
