Therefore, a pilot project has been introduced in Ukraine to simplify the application for housing and communal services (HCS) benefits for war veterans. This was reported by UNN with reference to the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine.

The agency explains that in country , work continues to digitize social services so that people who have come to the defense of the country can use them easily and quickly.
The most urgent need is to formalize benefits for housing and communal services for war veterans
Veterans may often be undergoing rehabilitation after receiving combat injuries or be directly on the battlefield performing their duties, and therefore are unable to visit service centers of state institutions, including the Pension Fund, in person
Thanks to the new project , it is now possible to submit a single simplified application for registration and benefits to a veteran through the electronic services portal of the Pension Fund of Ukraine.

This opportunity can be used by combatants, persons with war-related disabilities, and war veterans. It doesn't matter whether a person has resigned from service or continues to serve, they are still eligible for benefits.
You can submit an online application through the web portal in a few clicks:
- Go to the web portal of the Fund and log in with a qualified electronic signature (QES);
- In your personal account, in the left panel in the “Communications with the Pension Fund” section, select “Application for a housing subsidy or benefit”
- Read the information in the window and click “Continue”;
- Select the option “Application for registration of a war veteran and provision of benefits under the pilot project”
- To fill in the online form that appears on the screen: indicate the person submitting the application, general information about the person applying for benefits (passport and address data), add the data of the benefits documents, information about bank details, paying attention to the prompts given by the system;
- Before forming the application and sending it to the Pension Fund, using the “Add file” option, attach scanned copies of documents that may affect the benefit (if any).
- Provide consent to the processing of personal data and click the “Create an application” button
- Then click “Sign and send to the Pension Fund.”

The ministry also reminded that there are other opportunities to apply for a utility benefit. In particular, you can:
- directly at the service center of the Pension Fund of Ukraine;
- also contact an authorized person of the executive body of the village, town, city council or regional and Kyiv state administration (military administration);
- contact an official of the administrative service center;
- send by mail.
Recall
Acting Minister of Veterans Affairs Oleksandr Porkhun said that services to veterans will be provided on the principle of a single window. A single standard for the provision of such services will be adopted in Ukraine.
