A man was electrocuted in Ternopil region due to a broken wire

In Ternopil region, a man was electrocuted while trying to climb a fence with a broken wire. The wire fell on the fence after a tree fell on an overhead line. This was reported by the Ministry of Energy on Sunday, UNN reports. 

 As a result of a tree falling on an overhead line, a wire broke and fell on the fence. The man, trying to climb over it, approached a dangerous distance and was fatally electrocuted

- said the Ministry of Energy. 

As of the morning of August 4 , 96 settlements in Kyiv, Sumy, Chernihiv and Zaporizhzhia regions were without power.
