A large-scale plane crash in South Korea has led to an inspection of all airlines

South Korea has ordered an urgent security check of all airlines in the country. This was reported by Reuters, according to UNN.

South Korea is recovering from the tragedy that occurred at the Muang International Airport. A Jeju Air Boeing 737-800 aircraft rolled off the runway during landing and exploded. There were 175 passengers and six crew members on board. 179 people were killed and two crew members were rescued. 

Acting President Choi Sang-mok ordered an urgent safety inspection of all airlines in the country. Preliminary reports indicate that the crash could have been caused by a technical malfunction related to landing gear failure. Both black boxes were recovered, but one of them was damaged. The investigation is ongoing with the participation of international experts.
