In the temporarily occupied Luhansk, co-owner of the "Kavkaz" cafe, Jeyhun Salamov, was liquidated as a result of gang fights. Together with the second owner of the cafe, he actively cooperated with Russian troops, personally recruiting fellow citizens into the Akhmat detachments and other Kadyrov units. "An ATESH agent from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the "LPR" reports that in occupied Luhansk, co-owner of the "Kavkaz" cafe, Jeyhun Salamov, born in 1973, a native of Azerbaijan, was liquidated as a result of gang fights," the message reads.
It is noted that he was attacked at the end of February - the killer shot him right in the car.
"16 shots were fired, Salamov was seriously injured and later died. According to the agent, this was the third attempt to eliminate him. The attacker and his accomplice, who provided the weapon, are also ethnic Azerbaijanis. One of them was detained at a Moscow airport before flying home," the message reads.
ATESH reports that Salamov, together with the second owner of the mentioned cafe - Sharifov Emin Yusif ogly, since the beginning of the occupation in 2014, have been actively cooperating with Russian troops: they provided the cafe premises for meetings, organized food for the military and personally recruited fellow citizens into the Akhmat detachments and other Kadyrov units.
"Their establishment has become a favorite stopping place for Kadyrov militants and commanders, as well as a gathering point for elements loyal to the Putin regime," the message reads.
Cafe "Kavkaz" is a famous place: it was there on May 30, 2022 during a "meeting" that Major General Roman Kutuzov ("Fog"), commander of the 1st Army Corps of the Russian Armed Forces, was liquidated.
"This place has long lost its status as a civilian object - it functions as a cover for military and recruitment activities. We urge residents of Luhansk to stay away from this establishment. Do not risk your life for those who support the occupiers," ATESH reports.
