A bus in Poltava region has run over a pedestrian to death, UNN reports, citing the police communication department in Poltava region.

The accident occurred on December 4 at about 18:00 in the village of Mayborodivka, Kremenchuk district.
According to the preliminary version of the investigation, a PAZ passenger bus driven by a driver born in 1969, moving on an intercity route, hit a pedestrian born in 1993. As a result of the accident, the victim sustained injuries and died on the spot.
Criminal proceedings were initiated over this incident under Part 2 of Article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules by a person driving a vehicle, which caused the death of the victim) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The causes and circumstances of the accident are being investigated.
As a reminder,
an international bus from Kyiv to Warsaw on the highway to the border collided with a truck the night before, the bus driver and a passenger were injured, they were not hospitalized.
