A four-year-old girl was evacuated from the temporarily occupied territory. This was reported by the head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak, reports UNN.

Within the framework of the Bring Kids Back UA initiative, launched by the President of Ukraine, a successful operation was carried out to return a child who had been in the temporarily occupied territory since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
At the time of the invasion, the girl was with her grandmother. Their city fell under the control of the invaders from the first days. Due to constant hostilities, destruction of infrastructure and the danger of violent removal, the child's life was in danger.
The father, who remained in the free territory, repeatedly tried to free his daughter on his own, but all attempts were in vain. Thanks to the help of the Ukrainian Child Rights Network, it was possible to pave a safe path and organize a rescue operation.
The girl has now reunited with her father and is safe.

Recently, within the framework of the Bring Kids Back UA initiative, it was possible to return 11 more Ukrainian children. Among those rescued are brothers whose father died because of his pro-Ukrainian position, and a pregnant woman with a child.
