Since the beginning of the day, the Russian army has carried out 62 assault operations at the front. 25 battles took place in the Pokrovsk direction. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, writes UNN.
The aggressor is shelling border areas. Today, the following settlements in Sumy region were affected: Korenyok, Bachivsk, Iskriskivshchyna, Budky, Doroshivka, Otruba, Neskuchne, Sytne, Kozache, Rohizne and Volfyne; Kryvusha - in Chernihiv region.
In the Siversk and Slobozhansky directions, the enemy launched one air strike using four KABs, carried out 61 shellings of settlements and positions of our troops, 12 of which were with the use of MLRS. One combat engagement was recorded.
In the Pivdenno-Slobozhansky direction, the enemy tried to improve its position five times in the areas of the settlements of Starytsia, Tsehelne, Vilcha, and Krasne Pershe.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy conducted assault operations twice in the areas of Borivska Andriivka.
In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled one attempt by the invaders to advance towards the settlement of Dibrova.
In the Sloviansk direction, the occupiers tried twice to advance on the positions of our troops towards Rai-Oleksandrivka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the occupiers did not conduct active offensive operations.
In the Kostiantynivka direction, the invaders carried out 14 attacks near the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Udachne, Kleban-Byk, Ivanopillia, Illinivka, Novopavlivka, Sofiivka, Pleshchiivka, and Kucheriv Yar. One attack is ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the occupiers have tried 25 times to dislodge our soldiers from their occupied positions in the areas of the settlements of Bilytske, Shevchenko, Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Hryshyne, Serhiivka, Udachne, Muravka, Novomykolaivka, Novopidhorodne, Novopavlivka, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, and Molodetske. One enemy assault operation is ongoing.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked five times towards Iskra, Sichneve, Krasnohirske, Stepove, and Zlahoda. One enemy assault continues. The occupiers also launched an airstrike in the Velykomykhailivka area.
In the Huliaipole direction, seven attacks took place towards the positions of our defenders in the areas of Dobropillia, Pryluky, Hirke, and Varvarivka. Vozdvyzhivka, Dolynka, Rivne, and Kopani were subjected to airstrikes.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy launched an airstrike in the area of the settlements of Obsche and Zarichne. No assault operations were conducted.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive operations.
In other directions, no significant changes in the situation are currently occurring. No attempts by the enemy to advance are recorded.
