Russia attacked Ukraine with 81 drones overnight, 51 drones downed in 10 regions of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Air Force reported on Wednesday, UNN reports.

According to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, on the night of December 18 (from 19.00 on December 17), the enemy attacked with 81 Shahed strike UAVs and other types of drones from the areas of Bryansk, Kursk, Millerovo, Orel.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Air Force and Defense Forces.
As of 09.00, 51 Shahed attack UAVs and other types of drones were confirmed downed in Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytsky, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia regions. As a result of active counteraction of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, 30 enemy imitator UAVs were lost locally (no negative consequences)
No hits were reported, and there was no information on damage or casualties.
