Until July 31, you can register for military service online via Reserve+. This is a quick way to complete the mandatory procedure remotely: without queues, paper documents, and additional burden on the TCC and SP. From August 1, registration for military service will only be available through a personal visit to the TCC and SP

- reported by the Ministry of Defense.

How to register for military service in Reserve+:

  • install Reserve+ or update the application to the latest version;
    • log in via BankID and select "Register for service";
      • check the information on the screen and press the "Register for service" button;
        • wait for the automatic processing of the request.

          After successful registration for military service, a Reserve ID with the status "Conscript" will appear in the application. Registration for military service does not mean conscription into military service. It allows you to obtain a military registration document, which will be needed, for example, when entering an educational institution, finding employment, processing certain documents, or receiving government services

          Addendum

          In January, the Verkhovna Rada adopted draft law No. 12076 on the specifics of registering conscripts for military service.

          According to it, annually from January 1 to July 31, boys who turn the age of registration in the year of registration are registered as conscripts with the entry of relevant information into the Unified State Register of Conscripts, Military Servicemen, and Reservists by:

          • undergoing electronic identification and updating of personal data through the electronic account of a conscript, military serviceperson, or reservist (via Reserve+);
            • personal appearance at the district (city) territorial center for recruitment and social support with the submission of necessary documents.

              According to the law, teenagers who have not registered for military service as conscripts by July 31 can only do so after a personal appearance at the district (city) territorial center for recruitment and social support.

              Valid reasons for not updating personal data through the electronic account of a conscript, military serviceperson, or reservist and/or not appearing at the TCC are recognized as:

              • illness;
                • natural disaster obstacle;
                  • residence (stay) on the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine or the territory of Ukraine where hostilities are ongoing;
                    • other circumstances that deprived him of the opportunity to undergo electronic identification and clarify his personal data.

                      According to Government Resolution No. 1203, citizens of Ukraine who are serving sentences in penal institutions or who have been subjected to compulsory medical measures are not subject to conscription military registration.

                      It is indicated that the registration of 17-year-olds for military service is carried out at their registered/declared place of residence, and in cases where the place of residence is not registered/declared, it is carried out by the territorial centers of recruitment and social support designated by the General Staff of the Armed Forces.

                      Also, the registration of 17-year-olds for military service does not require passing a military medical commission.
