President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Russian occupants have intensified their activities in the Kherson sector. The Ukrainian military repelled an attempt by Russian movements there. He said this in a video message, UNN reports.
"In general, we see the occupier's intensification in the Kherson sector. I would like to thank the units that are defending these positions. They repelled the attempt of Russian movements there, and today the Chief of the Army also reported to me on other frontline areas, both Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia," Zelensky said.
He also noted that there are more and more North Korean soldiers killed in the Kursk region.
"Special attention to the fighting in the Kursk region. More and more North Korean soldiers are killed there - it is indicative that Russia is trying to pass these soldiers off as representatives of national communities living in the territory of the Russian Federation," Zelensky said.

In the morning, the Russians made a real hell in Kherson , starting to shell the city with massive fire at 5 am. The enemy attacked residential buildings, social and critical infrastructure. About 1,000 shells arrived.
According to BBC Ukraine, the Russian military also attempted to cross the Dnipro and land near Kherson.
