The most important incentive to give birth is the safety of the child. After the end of the war, the birth rate in Ukraine will increase. This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a conversation with students in Sumy, UNN reports.
I think the biggest incentive is safety. What happens to the child? What to do? And we need not only financial incentives, because I think finances help, but they do not stimulate births in times of war
According to him, parents should be sure that their children have: a shelter, a safe school, shelters in schools, shelters in kindergartens and air defense.
"In general, I understand that the war will end and there will be a baby boom. I am confident in this, people will come back, confident in the future and confident in the future of Ukraine," Zelensky concluded.
