Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer coordination with partners to end the war, including communication with the American team. Zelenskyy announced this on Telegram, UNN reports.
We proposed a ceasefire for the Easter holidays and expect the United States to support us.
According to the president, Ukraine is doing everything possible for diplomacy to work, "but we see no readiness from Russia; only pressure and determination of partners and the resilience of our soldiers can change their mood."
Zelenskyy also informed Starmer about the situation on the front, where, according to the president, Ukrainian "positions are already much stronger."
He also spoke about meetings in the Middle East and the Gulf region and agreements to increase the protection of lives. "Ukrainian experience and expertise should be scaled up across Europe: this is our common security guarantee. And we are ready to work with European partners for the joint protection of our people," Zelenskyy noted.
