Zelenskyy said that the war is blocking Ukrainian exports, while EU quotas further restrict them. He warned of a food challenge this year.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said during an address to participants of the Ukraine–Northern European and Baltic States summit that "it is necessary to discuss increasing EU quotas, especially for Ukrainian food exports," UNN reports.

It is likely that we also need to discuss increasing EU quotas, especially for Ukrainian food exports. It is simply unfair when, on the one hand, the war blocks our food exports, while on the other hand, they are restricted by quotas. Let us consider this as well

- Zelenskyy said.

The President added that consultations had been held with the Secretary-General at the UN level, among others.

All countries understand that this year there will be a major challenge regarding food and agricultural products. Therefore, we need to solve this problem - Zelenskyy added.
