Zelenskyy awarded nearly 700 Ukrainian soldiers for their bravery; five were named Hero of Ukraine.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed several decrees honoring nearly 700 Ukrainian soldiers, he said in a video message, UNN reports.

The day before, I signed several decrees - decrees on honoring our soldiers, on our gratitude to them. And I want to talk about them today. Almost 700 soldiers. Army. The air force. THE NAVY. GUR. Five Heroes of Ukraine, and four of them are intelligence officers, warriors of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine. Those whose heroic work cannot yet be described, but whom we all have to thank. They are our heroes. Another "Golden Star" of the Hero of Ukraine goes to a soldier of the Armed Forces, Junior Sergeant Ihor Tymoshchuk, whom I personally presented with the award during a trip to Avdiivka. He is a very strong guy. A strong commander. One of those who really inspire. Four more soldiers have now been awarded "Crosses of Combat Merit": soldier Oleh Duzhenkyi from the 130th separate reconnaissance battalion, soldier Mykyta Kalyayev from the 115th separate mechanized brigade of the Reserve Corps of our Army, captain Bohdan Mazurenko from the 35th separate marine brigade and major Roman Stryzhobyk from the 47th separate mechanized brigade.
