Today, on December 26, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy awarded the military with the Golden Stars of Heroes of Ukraine and Crosses of Military Merit. This was reported by UNN.
The President noted that there are almost 200 independent states in the world - each of them has its own character and reason for being on earth. For Ukraine, this reason is our people, Zelenskyy said.
Today, on the day after Christmas, we honor our bravest soldiers and most dedicated people with the highest state awards - the Gold Stars of the Heroes of Ukraine - and a special combat award - the Cross of Military Merit
The day before , Zelenskyy handed over 30 more certificates for apartments to Heroes of Ukraine and family members of soldiers who were posthumously awarded this title.
