Former Head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak will spend the night in a pre-trial detention center, as the 140 million UAH bail has not yet been posted, UNN reports, citing sources.

As the source noted, the amount of bail posted for Yermak has not changed; therefore, according to the interlocutor, the former head of the OP will spend the night in the pre-trial detention center because the so-called "banking day" has ended. There is a specific procedure where funds must arrive at the relevant account, after which it must be verified that the full amount has been deposited, a receipt must be issued, etc.

14.5 million UAH has already arrived in the accounts for posting bail for the former Head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak. The HACC press service reported that funds have begun to arrive, and according to preliminary data, the contributions were made by two individuals, though their names are currently unknown. 

On May 14, 2026, a HACC judge ordered detention for former OP head Yermak with the possibility of 140 million UAH bail. SAPO prosecutors had requested the amount be set at 180 million hryvnias.

Following the court decision, Yermak stated that he does not have the necessary amount to post bail and will file an appeal.
