The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, and the US National Security Advisor, Jake Sullivan, discussed the continuation of our country's support in the war with Russia and preparations for the first Global Peace Summit.  The details of the meeting, which took place in Kyiv, were reported by the official website of the President of Ukraine, UNN reports.

Today I heard from Mr. Sullivan once again about the absolutely unquestionable support from the United States, about bipartisan support. We know for sure that President Biden's administration, the entire team, and Jake himself are doing everything possible to pass the much-needed aid package.

- Yermak said.

The Head of the President's Office noted that the United States, which is a strategic partner of Ukraine, had found an opportunity to provide a new package of defense support worth $300 million even in the context of the delay in the approval of the military aid package in the Congress.

During the talks, Andriy Yermak and Jake Sullivan also touched upon the preparation for the NATO Washington Summit and the inaugural Global Peace Summit.

Personally, Jake has supported our idea from the very beginning. He has been doing a lot of advocacy with other countries, including the Global South.

- said the Head of the Presidential Office.

For his part, Jake Sullivan emphasized that two years after Russia's attack on Ukraine, our country is still standing, primarily due to the bravery and dedication of the Ukrainian people.

And today I want to tell you that we believe in you. We believe that you will win. That you will build a brighter future for Ukraine, a stronger democracy, a resilient country that will be able to repel future aggressions. We will be your partner in all these dimensions. You also have to believe in the United States. We have stood by your side since the beginning of this war. We have provided tremendous support. And we continue to do so every day in the ways that we can.

 ," Sullivan said.

In his opinion, Ukraine should emerge from the war sovereign, united and able to withstand further aggression, with strong democratic institutions and a growing economy.

Not only traditional industries, but also high-tech. Because you innovate even during an invasion.

- expressed his delight.

Sullivan emphasized the need to provide military support and weapons so that Ukraine's brave soldiers can effectively defend their country on the battlefield. He noted that intelligence and economic cooperation, diplomacy, and work on democratic and economic reforms are underway.

This is a holistic approach that our President is leading and that is a key priority for the United States to ensure that Ukraine not only wins, but is successful in the long run, and is able to withstand. And this is not just something that Ukraine deserves, it is also in the national security interest of the United States.

- said Jake Sullivan.

During the meeting, the parties agreed that they had one plan - to win this war, and to do everything necessary to do so.
