FC Lyon has filed a complaint with the prosecutor's office over suspicions of the embezzlement of hundreds of millions of euros. The investigation concerns operations from May 2023 to June 2025.

The French football club Olympique Lyonnais, where Ukrainian Roman Yaremchuk plays, has announced the filing of a criminal complaint with the Lyon prosecutor's office following an internal investigation that revealed potential unjustified financial transactions totaling hundreds of millions of euros. This was reported by Bloomberg, according to UNN.

The complaint was filed jointly with Eagle Football Group. It concerns suspicions of embezzlement, publication of inaccurate financial statements, and the dissemination of misleading information. The investigation covered transactions conducted between May 2023 and June 2025.

During this period, the club was headed by American businessman John Textor, who was succeeded as president last year by Michele Kang. Textor's lawyer, Julien Visconti, stated that his client categorically rejects all allegations.
