On the night of July 6, Yalta and a number of other settlements temporarily lost power amid reports of explosions and air defense operations in occupied Crimea. This was reported by the Telegram channel "Crimean Wind," writes UNN.

According to the channel, Yalta was left completely without electricity. Residents of most of Simferopol, Sevastopol, Bakhchysarai, certain settlements of the Simferopol district, as well as Alushta, Feodosia, Kerch, and Dzhankoi reported power outages or interruptions in supply, where voltage surges were recorded.
Explosions were reported near the airfield and thermal power plant
According to "Crimean Wind," shooting was heard in the area of the Tavriyska Thermal Power Plant, and drones were reported approaching the Balaklava Thermal Power Plant. Additionally, the channel, citing subscribers, reported at least two explosions in the area of the Hvardiyske military airfield, as well as explosions near Bilohirsk.
The channel's authors claim that the energy system of occupied Crimea was destabilized. No official information from the occupation authorities regarding the causes of the widespread power outages had been received at the time of publication.
