Ukrainian strike drones FP-1 on July 31 hit the Wildberries logistics hub and the Lukoil-Volgogradneftepererabotka refinery in Russian Volgograd. This was reported by the UAV manufacturer Fire Point, UNN writes.
OSINT analysts reported an attack on Wildberries in Volgograd, located in the Dzerzhinsky district on Buzuluksky proezd. After the strike, a fire broke out at the facility. The Russian company informed partners about the suspension of the warehouse's operations. In addition, according to preliminary data, drones may have also attacked the Lukoil-Volgogradneftepererabotka oil refinery, located in the south of Volgograd.
"Ukrainian FP-1 UAVs hit the Wildberries logistics hub and the Lukoil-Volgogradneftepererabotka refinery in Volgograd," the statement says.
It is noted that the Volgograd refinery is one of the largest oil refining enterprises in the Russian Federation with a capacity of about 15 million tons of oil per year. This plant produces gasoline, diesel, aviation fuel and other petroleum products and plays an important role in the fuel supply of the southern regions of Russia.
The affected Wildberries logistics hub is one of the large centers for storage, sorting and distribution of goods with an area of 44,000 m².
"Such complexes ensure the continuous operation of one of the largest marketplaces in the Russian Federation, through which, in particular, goods of military and dual-use were sold," Fire Point added.
