We are closely monitoring developments in Syria and call on all parties to de-escalate and protect civilians and infrastructure in order to prevent further displacement and disruption of humanitarian access. The current escalation only underscores the urgent need for a political solution to the Syrian-led conflict in accordance with UN Security Council Resolution 2254.
