The Fidesz party has accused the Tisza party of allegedly preparing to bribe Roma voters and has promised to contact law enforcement. This is reported by UNN with reference to telex.hu.

According to Fidesz, an audio recording has emerged that may indicate an alleged attempt to organize the purchase of votes from Roma voters. The party claims that this is a possible crime against the electoral process, and therefore they intend to file a corresponding statement.
The Fidesz statement notes that the recording allegedly features Stefan Attila, chief of staff to Romulus Rusin-Sendi. According to the party, he is talking about providing assistance to low-income Roma voters under the guise of donations.
At the same time, the position of the Tisza party regarding these accusations is currently unknown. As of the time of publication, no response has been received from the political force.
What is known about the course of the elections in Hungary now
On Sunday, April 12, parliamentary elections began in Hungary. As of 7:00 a.m., voter turnout was 3.46%. And as of 9:00 a.m., 16.89% of Hungarians had already cast their votes.
The lowest turnout was in Budapest, where turnout was 15.96 percent, while the highest voter activity was recorded in cities with a population of 10,000 to 20,000 people. There, 17.73 percent of voters had already cast their ballots.
It is expected that by the end of the day - by 7:00 p.m. - more than 7 million Hungarians will cast their votes.
It should be noted that in 2022, when regular parliamentary elections were held in the country, turnout was 10.31%.
Balázs Orbán, head of the Fidesz party's election headquarters, believes that high voter activity is a harbinger of the ruling party's victory in the parliamentary race.
Currently, the main struggle is taking place between the current head of government and leader of the Fidesz party, Viktor Orbán, and the leader of the opposition Tisza party, Péter Magyar. Both have already visited polling stations and cast their votes.
