According to the command, the day before, U.S. forces also disabled the tanker Lavine under the flag of Mozambique in the Gulf of Oman.
U.S. reports 12 redirected vessels
CENTCOM claims that the tanker Lavine violated the established blockade and ignored numerous warnings, after which it was stopped. The agency noted that the vessel "is no longer transiting to Iran."
Since the resumption of the naval blockade in early July, U.S. military, according to their data, have redirected 12 commercial vessels, disabled two vessels that did not comply with the blockade, and also conducted boardings on two ships to enforce the established restrictions.
