Three Ukrainian teenagers who developed apps for children who developed apps for children fleeing war have won this year's International Children's Peace Prize at a at a ceremony in London. This is reported by The Guardian, according to UNN.

18-year-old Sofia Tereshchenko, 17-year-old Anastasia Feskova and 17-year-old Anastasia Demchenko received the award for developing two apps for for refugee children. The award was presented in the UK on Friday, November 17.
The girls were inspired by a news report about a lonely child who crying while crossing the Ukrainian-Polish border. After that, the Ukrainian girls met online and developed an app for young children who have left their country.
The app developed will help children understand where they are and how to seek help, and another for older children on how to integrate in the countries in which they have successfully found asylum.
Accepting the award, Anastasia Feskova said that "as much as we would like we would like all children to have a safe and peaceful childhood. We realize that the reality is different."
