Ukrainian parliamentarians took part in the Eleventh Plenary Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the EU - Eastern Neighbors (PACE). This is reported by the Press Service of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, UNN reports.

The Eleventh Plenary Session of the EU Parliamentary Assembly - Eastern Neighbors (PACE) is underway in Brussels and will last until March 20.
The session was attended by a delegation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, represented by 7 MPs of Ukraine, headed by the Chairman of the Permanent Delegation Ivan Krulko, who this year holds the position of Co-President of the PA EURONEST. The delegation also included Volodymyr Ariev, Olena Vintoniak, Oleh Meydych, Ihor Molotok, Oleksandr Vasyuk, and Olga Stefanyshyna.
The first working days included meetings of the "political families," four standing committees, the EURONEST PA Bureau, and working groups on the Association Agreement and belarus. During the committee meetings, discussions were held on a wide range of topics, including strengthening the civilian-security aspect of the Eastern Partnership in the context of russia's military aggression against Ukraine, energy infrastructure and security, the economic consequences of the war for the region, and other topical issues such as the implementation of the Economic and Investment Plan for the Eastern Partnership. Aspects of social support and integration of minors fleeing the war were also discussed.
Following the results of the first working days, Ivan Krulko was elected Co-President of the PA EURONEST.
The Ukrainian delegation also presented a draft special resolution on the tenth anniversary of Russian aggression and the second anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, which will be considered at the plenary session on March 20.
