There were 133 combat engagements in the frontline yesterday. One third of them took place in the Pokrovsk sector. Ukrainian defenders repelled 41 enemy attacks there. This is stated in the report of the General Staff as of 8:00 a.m. on August 6, UNN reports.
Yesterday, the Russian aggressor launched seven missiles (ten rockets), 50 air strikes (including 64 combat aircraft) and 752 kamikaze drone strikes at the positions of our troops and localities, fired 4,816 times at the positions of our troops and localities, 114 of them from MLRS.
Yesterday, the aviation and missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces struck two UAV control centers, two areas of concentration of personnel and weapons and another important enemy object.
In the Kharkiv sector, the enemy continued active operations, with a total of five combat engagements taking place. The fighting took place in the vicinity of Vovchansk and Tykhyne.

In the Kramatorsk sector , our soldiers stopped 13 enemy attempts to break through our defenses in the areas of Chasovyi Yar and Ivanivske in Donetsk region.
In the Toretsk sector, with the support of aviation, the enemy carried out 26 attacks near the settlements of Pivnichne, Toretsk and Nyzhyk.
In the Pokrovsk sector, our defenders repelled 41 enemy attacks. The enemy concentrated its efforts in the areas of Panteleymonivka, Novooleksandrivka, Vozdvyzhenka, Ivanivka, Zhelanne, Novoselivka Persha and Yasnobrodivka in the Donetsk region.
In the Kurakhove sector, the Defense Forces continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka and Kostiantynivka, where the enemy tried to break through the defense of our troops seven times.
In the Vremivsk sector, the aggressor made four attacks on our positions near Vodiane and Rozdolne in the Donetsk region.
At Orikhivske direction , our troops repelled one enemy attack in the direction of Robotyne, the enemy was not successful.
In the Prydniprovskyi sector, the Defense Forces successfully repelled six enemy attacks on our positions.
The operational situation in the Volyn and Polissya sectors remained unchanged. No signs of the formation of offensive groups of invaders were detected.
On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the enemy maintains a military presence, shells settlements from the territory of the Russian Federation, and conducts sabotage and reconnaissance activities.
Our soldiers continue to inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, exhausting the enemy along the entire combat line and in its rear.
