Since the beginning of the day, 108 combat engagements have taken place on the frontline, the General Staff reported in an evening statement, UNN reports .
Details
- Six combat engagements with Russian invaders took place in the Kharkiv sector. Five attacks were repelled in the areas of Tykhy and Vovchansk. One battle is still ongoing near the latter.
- In the Kupyansk sector, the enemy tried six times to force our units out of their positions near Pishchane and Stelmakhivka. Three enemy attacks are ongoing.
- The enemy attacked 14 times in the Lyman sector, tried to advance towards Makiivka and Nevske ten times, and three firefights are currently underway. Two attacks were repelled in the Serebryansky forest, two more are ongoing.
- In the Siverskyi sector, our defenders repelled three enemy assaults in the areas of Verkhnekamianske, Pereizne and Vyymka. The enemy was not successful.
- Seven combat engagements took place in the Kramatorsk sector. Occupants were active in the area of Chasovyi Yar, five enemy attempts to seize our positions failed, and two attacks are ongoing. The situation is under control.
- The enemy tried to break into our defense in the Toretsk sector 15 times, actively using attack and bombing aircraft. Since the beginning of the day, the occupants near the settlements of Pivnichne, Toretsk, New York and Zalizne have been fiercely repulsed by our defenders 12 times. Three assaults are still ongoing.
- The enemy is intensifying its attacks in the Pokrovsk sector. The aggressor conducted 40 assault and offensive actions there during the day. Russian occupants are most active in the areas of Novooleksandrivka, Vesele, Ivanivka, Zhelanne and Yasnobrodivka. In total, Ukrainian defenders have already repelled 22 attacks in the area, and another 18 combat engagements are ongoing. The situation is difficult but under control of the Defense Forces.
- In the Kurakhove sector, ten combat engagements have been registered as of this time of day. The invaders remain highly active, trying to advance in the vicinity of Krasnohorivka and Paraskoviivka. Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled nine enemy attacks, and one attack near Krasnohorivka is ongoing.
- In the Vremivsk sector, four firefights took place in the area of Staromayorske. All enemy attacks were stifled.
- The situation did not change significantly in the Orikhivsk sector, with two enemy attacks repelled by our troops during the day.
