Members of the Foreign Policy Committee, the Law Enforcement Committee and the Foreign Policy Council of the Danish Parliament arrived in Mykolaiv to discuss, among other things, the current security and humanitarian situation in Ukraine. During the working visit, Ukrainian and Danish parliamentarians got acquainted with the destroyed facilities. During the meetings with local authorities, they also discussed the current security and humanitarian situation in Ukraine, in particular in Mykolaiv region, the future liberation of the occupied territories, strengthening military, technical, economic and humanitarian assistance to Ukraine, the possibility of investing and rebuilding the facilities damaged by Russia, and the investigation of war crimes.
In addition, detailed attention was paid to the discussion of Ukraine's European and Euro-Atlantic integration, as well as prospects for membership in the European Union and NATO.
