On the night of July 23, 2024, the enemy attacked Sumy region using an X-69 guided missile and 8 Shahed-type attack drones.
Units of mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces and electronic warfare units of the Ukrainian Air Force were engaged to repel the air attack.
As a result, air defense shot down 7 enemy attack UAVs of the Shahed-131/136 type. In addition, the occupiers' X-69 guided missile failed to reach its target due to active counteraction by Ukrainian forces.
